Highland Games

Throughout the summer
months Highland Games are held in all areas of the Scottish
Highlands. They are a tradition that has been carried on since the
last century. The programme includes highland dancing, piping,
tossing the caber, putting the stone, throwing the hammer,
sprinting, long leap, tug of war and relay race. The pipe bands add
to the splendid atmosphere and the enjoyment of the day. |
